Just started the Paleolithic Diet two weeks ago and have been feeling better. Still figuring out how my body reacts to certain foods, so I've decided to use this blog to be a sort of food diary.
I get a Betaseron shot tonight
Breakfast: cold smoked salmon, celery, lettuce, carrot juice, almonds.
Felt good all morning--maybe slightly disoriented.
Lunch: raw fish, a little rice, carrots, avocado, cucumbers (insides of sushi rolls), almonds, orange, peppermint tea.
Felt good all afternoon--right hand almost normal
Snack: non-fat corn tortilla chips, salsa, dried figs, dates, raisins, pine nuts, almonds.
Felt good until dinner
Dinner: Canadian bacon, steamed cauliflower, roasted butternut squash, avocado, hot sauce.
Right after dinner my hands seem to be pretty tight. Back is a little achy too. Maybe there's a sensitivity to squash? It's about an hour after dinner and I've pretty much recovered. Right hand is a little tight, but otherwise I'm okay.
Activities: I raked the leaves after my afternoon snack. Plan to ride the stationary bike tonight.
